Buster is going home tomorrow! He came into rescue with the worst ears we have ever seen. Moved from home to home he was purchased on Gumtree by his last owner who took him home and discovered he had a growth in one ear and “black stuff” coming out. Because his owner couldn’t afford a vet he left him to suffer and his ear condition was never treated………..until he was handed into NAYBR. Both his ears were full of canker, what pain this boy must have been in! Busters ears were cleaned, treated with antibiotics and the benign growth removed and gradually Busters ears have improved. So if YOU buy a dog please consider how you will pay your vet bills. A dog is a huge financial committment and you should plan accordingly. The way Buster’s owners allowed him to suffer was disgusting, if you can’t afford to be a responsible owner……DONT GET A DOG!
